Our first tennis match ever!!!

Tennis, anyone?

Calvert School started a tennis team this season, and the turnout was tremendous. Coaches Doss and Till took to the courts at Druid Hill this past Monday, and when I stopped by, the athletes and coaches were having a blast. Enjoy some of the pictures from the day!

This past weekend was spent in New Haven at Yale University with a group of dedicated squashers, their proud parents, and their four coaches. It was a weekend of early morning matches, (which didn't bother us; we play best in the mornings) big breakfasts, hanging out, and tons of squash. For the most part, we were happy with our performance, but we vow to do even better next year! Many thanks to Calvert School for allowing us to miss classes and represent the school at Yale!

Ice Hockey

Calvert has added ice hockey to the winter sport offerings; this is a dedicated crew, 18 athletes led by Mr. Vaught, Mr. Shep, and a couple of super parent volunteers, two days per week...they are on the ice at 6:30 AM!!
